Mathematical modeling and defense
In groups, choose a real-life situation (e.g. jeepney fare, mobile data cost, a thrown ball, the spread of a sound). Decide which function family models it, write its equation, graph it by hand and in Desmos, then defend your model to the class with evidence from the data.

Payroll and digital payslip
Prepare a monthly payroll for a small sari-sari store or barangay office with at least four employees paid in different ways (monthly salary, daily wage with overtime, commission, piecework). Compute gross pay, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and withholding tax deductions, and net pay, then produce a digital payslip for each employee in Google Sheets.
5 criteria · Earning Money and Percentages
Digital financial report with graphs
Compare two ways of reaching a savings goal (e.g. ₱50,000 for a laptop in three years): a regular deposit plan versus a lump sum in a time deposit. Model each with a sequence or series, build tables and graphs in a spreadsheet, and present a one-page digital report that recommends a plan and justifies the decision.
4 criteria · Sequences in Finance, Patterns, Sequences and Series, Compound Interest
Practical measurement or conversion solution
Design a solution to a measurement problem in your community: for example, a rainwater tank for a classroom roof, paint for a school wall, or converting a recipe for a canteen of 200. Produce a concrete or visual model (scale drawing, net, or 3D model) with the computations and a cost estimate.
5 criteria · Units and Conversion, Surface Area and Volume, Practical Measurement and Cost Estimation
Statistical investigation and survey report
Pose a question about your school or barangay (e.g. daily travel time, allowance spent on snacks, hours of sleep). Choose a random sampling method, collect at least 30 responses, organise the data in tables and graphs, compute measures of centre and spread using a spreadsheet or Jamovi, and write a short report with conclusions and limitations.
5 criteria · Data and Descriptive Statistics, Random Sampling, The Normal Distribution
Argument analysis with logic
Collect three arguments from advertisements, social media posts or news commentary. Translate each into propositional form with connectives, build a truth table or identify the argument form, decide whether it is valid, and explain the result in plain language to a classmate.
4 criteria · Logic and Propositions
Loan comparison for a family decision
A family needs ₱60,000 for a motorcycle used for deliveries. Compare at least three options (bank consumer loan, cooperative loan, in-house financing or a 5-6 lender) using amortisation schedules built in a spreadsheet. Compute the total interest and effective rate of each, and recommend an option in a short written advice note.
4 criteria · Business and Consumer Loans, Annuities and Cash Flows, Compound Interest
Error analysis
After each quiz you get a breakdown by topic, competency and difficulty, the misconceptions behind wrong answers, a ranked "reteach first" list and prerequisite flags. The report page combines every attempt saved on this device.
